History  The legendary F-series pickups , which include the Ford F-150 Raptor, have been in production for over 60 years. The first car was produced already in 1948, and the F-150 modification came out in the 1970s. After (from the 9th generation) the cars were “re-qualified” into a separate model. They are now the world leader in their class of sales. More than 800,000 pickups are sold annually. The 11th generation F-150 first manufactured in 2003. The car received a wide range of motors and 3 body types. The fifth generation of the Ford Explorer SUV (the first was released back in 1990) was marked by the abandonment of the frame structure in favor of a monocoque body. The technical basis is characterized by a whole set of multi-brand borrowings.
